This compound material did not need high temperature to absorb and release H2, and avoided metal oxidation, overcame the main technical obstacle of H2 storage. Sung Hyun Yuna et al. [20] reported a novel non-fluorinated composite polymer electrolyte membrane reinforced by an electrospun nano-fiber porous substrate having a symmetrically pore-filled structure. Water swelling of the membrane was significantly suppressed and the proton conductivities were improved, performances in a H2/O2 fuel cell were also greatly enhanced.

Vol. 20 (1985), p. com Keywords: polyurethane; epoxy resin; interpenetrating polymer network; spongy foam; initial adhesion; morphology Abstract: A series of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPN) spongy foams based on polyurethane (PU) and epoxy resin (EP) were prepared by a simultaneous polymerization technique. The PU/EP IPN spongy foams with different epoxy content were investigated. The results showed that initial adhesion increased with the increment of EP content, and gained the highest value when the content reached to 20%; FTIR suggested the formation of PU/EP IPN; the density also increased with the increasing content of epoxy; the highest degree of uniformity in bubbles were observed in foams with 20% content of epoxy resin.
